Appreciating the Landscape

This morning it rained and blew a storm however by mid afternoon the storm passed leaving good swell and an offshore. I surfed mid beach by the pohutukawa tree with two others. It was a whole lot of fun with grunty overhead waves.

The long period groundswell was only 4 ft in size but consistent, with plenty of waves to be had by the lucky people who were there.
